TOMMASO GIACOMIN

Artistic Director & Co-Founder

 

Tommaso Giacomin is an Italian theatre-maker and director based in Brighton, and the Artistic Director of TG WORKS. 


In 2025, Giacomin’s project The Uncontainable Nausea of Alec Baldwin was selected as one of eight works for the Biennale College Teatro Directors’ Scheme in Venice, curated by Willem Dafoe. This marked his third selection by the Biennale, following A Slight Ache (2024) and 4:48 DIGESTION (2022), affirming a sustained and growing presence within Italy’s most prestigious theatre platform.


He trained at the École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq (2017) and completed an MA in Theatre Lab at RADA in London. Over the past decade, Giacomin has created and presented original work across the UK, Italy, France, and India. His solo show SELF(ish) LOVE was funded by Arts Council England, and OMELETTEMACHINE (a top pick by Lyn Gardner) premiered at VAULT Festival and the Coronet Theatre in 2023. 


With over a decade of international experience as an actor, director, and pedagogue, Giacomin has worked and studied with influential theatre-makers including Simona Gonella (Italy), Sinead Rushe, Susie Dee (Australia), Tim Crouch, and Dreamthinkspeak. He currently teaches physical theatre, clown, and Lecoq-based performance at Emile Dale Academy and has previously taught at Laine Theatre Arts and the Questors Theatre.

MANUELA PIERRI

Company Manager & Co-Founder

 

Manuela Pierri is an Italian actress currently based in London. She began her artistic journey in Italy, where she trained and worked as a performer with Teatronovanta, a local theatre company specialising in theatre-in-education.


In 2017, she moved to London to continue her development, undertaking Meisner technique training with teacher Steven Ditmyer. Her on-screen experience includes appearances in music videos and independent student film productions, where she explored a range of characters and styles. In 2025, she worked as a casting assistant for the online series A Letter to a Black Man, helping to identify and coordinate talent following the success of the short film of the same name directed by Kiosa Sukami.


More recently, Manuela has expanded her creative practice into theatre management. She has overseen the staging and organisation of productions directed by Tommaso Giacomin, including 4:48 Digestion (2022), A Slight Ache (2024), and the upcoming The Uncontainable Nausea of Alec Baldwin.

HEATHER RALPH

Consultant Producer

 

Heather Ralph is a creative producer specialising in supporting neurodivergent artists and artists with invisible illnesses and hidden disabilities. Her work spans devised theatre, multidisciplinary, and combined arts productions, with a strong focus on accessible and sustainable producing practices.


She is currently developing her expertise in this area through a DYCP grant from Arts Council England. Committed to empowering other theatre-makers, Heather is training to become a Neurodiversity & Inclusion Practitioner with the Positive Psychology Guild.


Heather recently completed Carbon Literacy training in Theatre and is certified Carbon Literate by the Carbon Literacy Project. She is also a trained Mental Health First Aid Champion with Mental Health England.


She studied all areas of Arts Management at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, graduating in 2012.

STEFANIE BRUCKNER

Creative Associate // Perfomer

 

Stefanie Bruckner is a London and Berlin-based performer, holding an MA from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA).

 

She is a founding member of the theatre company New Public, with which she has performed across the UK, mainland Europe, and Russia, as well as of the comedy cabaret troupe Polly Clamorous, with multiple acclaimed performances on the UK fringe scene. In 2023, Stefanie joined the German studio cast for Disney’s Wish, marking a milestone in her voice-over career.

 

On screen, Stefanie most recently appeared as Ina Glöckner in Das Küstenrevier (2024) for Pyjama Pictures and as Helga Kloninger in The Rastatt Trials for ARTE Europe. Her stage credits include the lead role of Mirandolina in La Locandiera and the roles of Beatrice and Smeraldina in The Servant of Two Masters at Monbijou Theater, Berlin. In Switzerland, she performed at Theater Klibühni in The Gods of Silicon Valley, Fouché, and The Post Office Girl. In Italy, she portrayed Elena in Zio Vanja (Uncle Vanya) at Teatro Fontana di Milano and Teatro Metastasio di Prato under the direction of Simona Gonella.
In 2022, she began her collaboration with director Tommaso Giacomin on 4:48 Digestion, which continues with their upcoming project The Uncontainable Nausea of Alec Baldwin.

1.james aldred

JAMES ALDRED

Performer

 

James Aldred is an actor, theatre maker and musician who has trained at both the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama and the École Jacques Lecoq in Paris. He has a passion for physical theatre, as well as language skills, with a degree in French and Russian from Oxford University. James has combined these skills in a broad range of professional experience on both stage and screen, performing in a series of bilingual (French/English) performances with postdoctoral researchers at Oxford University in 2022. He is particularly interested in modern interpretations of classic(al) texts, and the impact of incorporating physical theatre techniques. James is a co-founder of the Cheap Art theatre company, producing and starring in sell-out showMosquitoat the White Bear Theatre in January 2022. He is passionate about creating small-scale work that holds ‘play’ at its core, giving artists the freedom to explore and experiment without expectation. More recently he has picked up a number of commercial, stage and screen credits, including a role in the sixth season of The Crown and a UK tour with the Three Inch Fools in summer 2024.

 

James is also a skilled singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist – playing guitar, bass, piano and drums. He writes, records and performs music with the band sugarcoat, releasing two singles to date and regularly performing across London.
 

3.mathias augestad ambjØr

MATHIAS AUGESTAD AMBJØR

Performer // Puppeteer

 

Mathias Ambjør is an actor based in Oslo. He trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), gaining a master's degree in 2022. He started his formal trainingat Nord University in Norway in 2014 in the Lecoq tradition, with the students briefly exchanging to Hochschule für Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch in Berlin in their third year.He is currently playing Julian inSnøsøsteraand is part of the ensemble inSpynorskat Det Norske Teatret, Oslo. After graduating from RADA, he went on an international touracrossEurope with a new adaptation ofAnimal Farmby George Orwell. He then performed at London's The Coronet Theatre and Brighton Fringe, before going to Oslo in 2023 to play Olaf in Frozen the Musical as well as performing in Elfriede Jelinek's Sports Play at Det Norske Teatret.

 

Mathias Ambjør is a theatre maker, and co-runs a theatre company based in Oslo called Feil Teater. He has worked as an actor, creator, dramatist, composer and producer for the company over the years. In 2023 the company received a Hedda Award for Best Production for Children. Mathias also does musical theatre, voice-over work, puppetry and stage combat. He is fluent in English and Norwegian.

BARTEL JESPERS

Performer

 

Bartel Jespers is a London-based actor and theatre maker born in Belgium. As a TBI survivor, his work centres around the interplay between respecting and challenging physical limitations and habits, and finding authenticity through imaginative transformation. With over 9 years of experience in the performing arts, Bartel has led and collaborated with artists across the UK, Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands. As a result, he performed in over 30 large scale productions. A few notable ones are the ‘Marina Abramović Exhibition’ at the Royal Academy of Arts, ‘Emperor Sans Clothes’ at International Theatre Amsterdam, and ‘Odysseus: a drifter returns’, a 24-hour marathon theatre show at KVS.
As a creator he made ‘Day 2: Jonestown’ with his own post-horror documentary theatre company, co-directed WALD/FOREST at Theater Lindenhof, and was part of the first cohort of in-house artists at Monty Kultuurfaktorij – where he created a new show every 3 weeks for an entire year.

 

Bartel holds an MA in Theatre Laboratory from RADA in London, and both a BA and MA in Acting from the Royal Conservatory in Antwerp.

PAOLO BESSEGATO

Performer

 

Paolo Bessegato began his theatre career at the age of sixteen, performing with the Interazione group in Milan, which in 1969 won the San Fedele Prize for theatrical research. While studying at university, he graduated from the Civica Scuola d’Arte Drammatica of the Piccolo Teatro in Milan. Early in his career, he worked with Giorgio Strehler and Dario Fo, later staging his own play Manuale di disoccupazione and creating performances based on the poetry of Andrea Zanzotto, Antonio Porta, and Giancarlo Majorino. Over the course of his career, Bessegato has brought to life numerous characters from both classical and contemporary theatre. These include the Count in Goldoni-Fassbinder’s The Coffee House, directed by Bruni-De Capitani at Teatro dell’Elfo (1991); Admetus in Euripides’ Alcestis alongside Lucilla Morlacchi, directed by Walter Pagliaro; Corrado in Paolo Giacometti’s La morte civile, directed by Giuseppe Bertolucci and performed with Sabina Guzzanti, David Riondino, and Antonio Catania, with whom he formed a company in 1993; and Ulysses in Euripides’ Hecuba with Anna Proclemer, directed by Massimo Castri for Teatro di Roma (1994).


As a director, Bessegato has staged works by Roberto Mussapi, Ottiero Ottieri, Achille Platto, and Giuseppe Di Leva. In 1998, he directed the first modern performance of Filippo Marchetti’s opera Ruy Blas at the Teatro Pergolesi in Jesi.


He currently teaches Poetic Diction at the Civica Scuola di Teatro Paolo Grassi in Milan.

PATRIZIA PUNZO

Performer

 

Patrizia Punzo graduated in 1984 from the Civica Scuola d’Arte Drammatica of the Piccolo Teatro in Milan, where she trained under Giampiero Solari, Massimo Navone, Paolo Bessegato, Gianfranco Mauri, Tino Schirinzi, Mina Mezzadri, Walter Pagliaro, and Marise Flash. She holds a degree with honours in Literature from La Sapienza University in Rome, specialising in Theatre History and Performing Arts. In 1994, she began working with the Russian director and pedagogue Anatolij Vasil’ev, deepening her craft as an actress through training in Rome, Moscow, and Paris. She has also studied with Jurij Alschitz, Alessio Bergamo, Gregory Hlady, and Denis Marleau.


On stage, Punzo has collaborated with prominent directors including Jonathan Miller, Luigi Squarzina, Sandro Sequi, Beppe Navello, Mario Missiroli, Piero Maccarinelli, Cesare Lievi, Italo Spinelli, Carlo Pasquini, Massimo Luconi, Giuseppe Emiliani, Gianfranco De Bosio, Danilo Nigrelli, Alvis Hermanis, and Alla Sigalova. She has curated and performed in productions such as Nel Paese dell’Anima, inspired by the works of Marina Tsvetaeva, and Io, Monica, as well as numerous poetry recitals and staged readings. Her film credits include collaborations with directors Marco Bellocchio, Marco Tullio Giordana, Fulvio Wetzl, Gabriella Rosaleva, Davide Ferrario, and Silvio Soldini. For television, she has worked with Michele Soavi, Alexis Sweet, Giulio Base, Luigi Perelli, Adriano Valerio, Claudio Noce, and Mario Piredda.


For over a decade, Punzo has complemented her acting career with her work as a teacher and theatre pedagogue.

IRIS SCHMID

Performer // Puppeteer

 

Iris Schmid was born in Tyrol, Austria, and worked in the Austrian and German industry for many years. Iris collaborated with Burgtheater, Odeon Theater, Theater Erfurt, Dschungel Wien. She graduated in 2022 from The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) where she obtained her MA.

 

Major projects in the past were The Great Elephant Chase (dir. Mervyn Millar, Significant Object), The Last Days of Mankind & Alma – two multi-hour immersive productions (dir. Paulus Manker), What if Birds (dir. Euripides Laskaridis), Iphigenia in Vienna (based on Gary Owen’s Iphigenia in Splot) and Theatre for Young Audiences such as The Vanishing Elephant at New Victory Theater in New York and When we were Wild at the MAC (dir. Paul Bosco Mc Eneaney), Alice in Wonderland, Pinocchio or the solo shows The Alphabet of Dreams & Little Red Riding Hood.

TEELE UUSTANI

Performer // Puppeteer

 

Teele Uustani is a London based performer/puppeteer from Estonia. She trained at the Lecoq pedagogy based London International School of Performing Arts (LISPA) and studied puppetry at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. As an actress and a puppeteer she has worked with companies such as Old Trout Puppet Workshop, Theatre-Rites, Zou Theater (CAN), The Paper Cinema, Maison Foo, Significant Object, Strangeface, Dotted Line Theatre, Genius Sweatshop, Tête à Tête. She has collaborated with international groups and performed in several site-specific theatre productions both outdoors and indoors as well as been involved in several short films, music videos and theatre projects as a deviser, puppet maker and an assistant director.

ARAMINTA WRAITH

Performer

 

Araminta Wraith is an actor, dancer, and theatre-maker. She trained as an actor at RADA following an acclaimed career as a ballet dancer.


A graduate of the Royal Ballet School, she performed with English National Ballet and as a soloist with Scottish Ballet, dancing leading roles in contemporary ballet and modern dance over a 14-year career.


Her theatre credits include Elizabeth Proctor in The Crucible, Blanche DuBois in A Streetcar Named Desire, and the lead in Money’s Hold Me Forever, directed by Cillian Murphy. She has also performed Dust (Akram Khan) on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury and Swan Lake at Wembley Stadium.


Her most recent stage work, We’ve Had Such A Lovely Time (in collaboration with Dan Sherer), premiered at The Place, London, in January 2024 and is set to tour nationwide next year. As a movement director, her credits include the film Split Ends, which will premiere at the BFI IMAX in May 2025.

CLAUDIA GAMBINO

Performer

 

Claudia Gambino is an actress and performer born in Milan in 1990. In 2014, she graduated from the Academy of the Piccolo Teatro in Milan. She has performed in productions directed by Luca Ronconi, Mario Martone, Antonio Marras, Alex Cecchetti, Fernando Rubio, Massimiliano Cividati, Piera Mungiguerra, Patrizio Belloli, and Silvia Giulia Mendola.


As a dancer, she has worked with several companies, including Nut (of which she has been a member since 2014) and Abbondanza Bertoni. In 2013, she co-founded the company Eunemesi, with which she created F.A.R.M., Padua Silk Road, Anthology of Superfluous Activities in New Taipei City (a project selected for the Movin’ Up award), INTIMADATA—a work conceived during the Covid-19 pandemic—and Sensual Pilgrimage at the Reina Sofía Museum in Madrid.


Her television debut came in 2015 with Squadra antimafia (directed by Samad Zarmandili for Mediaset), followed by Involontaria by La Buoncostume (MTV), Makari by Michele Soavi (RAI), and Monterossi by Roan Johnson (Amazon Video).


Since 2021, she has been collaborating as a performer and researcher with the Danish company Sister’s Hope in Copenhagen.

FRANCESCA GABUCCI

Performer

 

Francesca Gabucci is an actress, performer and director born in Pesaro. She has graduated in Philology, Literature and Ancient History at the University of Florence with a degree thesis in Greek literature “Fragmented Sophocles: Polissena and Poimenes”. 
She studied drama at the School of Theater Galante Garrone in Bologna.

 

She worked as an actress and performer with: Alessandro Serra (Tragùdia), Michele Sinisi (Miseria & Nobiltà, The Betrothed, La Grande Bouffe), Federico Tiezzi (Medea, The Loser, Il Purgatorio, Arturo Martini - death of the sculpture, Scenes from Faustus), Robert Wilson (Oedipus), Alexander Devriendt (TM). Tommaso Giacomin (4:48 Digestion).

 

She has directed and performed her own projects (Macbeth 2017, Studio su Materiale per Medea by Heiner Müller 2019, Molière Suite 2020, David's Crash - Wor(l)d Inside Me: finalist Director under 35 Biennale of Venezia Theater 2021 and finalist Twain/DirezioniAltre Prize 2022).

 

She is director assistant for Teodoro Bonci del Bene (Dati Sensibili di Ivan Vyrypaev, Come ho imparato a non preoccuparmi e ad amare la Russia, Di Giulietta e del suo Romeo, Le due Foreste).
She has a solid preparation in classical dance (Royal Academy of Dancing’s method). She formed herself with Roberto Latini, Francesca della Monica, Monica Demuru, Thierry Thieu Niang, and also with Susie Dee, Alessio Maria Romano and Caden Manson (Biennale College – Venice), Danio Manfredini (Repertoire – Corte Ospitale), Nekrosius (Naples Theater Festival).

 

She studied piano at the Conservatory G. Rossini of Pesaro.

GRACE CHURCH

Performer

 

Grace Church is a theatre-maker and playwright born in Brighton in 1993. Her practice focuses on creating socially engaged theatre and fostering community through creative expression.


She studied English Literature and Theatre at the University of East Anglia (UEA) and completed her training at the Jacques Lecoq International Theatre School in Paris. In 2017, she co-founded the theatre company Stumble Trip Theatre.


Grace has collaborated with the London College of Fashion, Embers Collective, Frisky Arts, and Guttersnipe Theatre, performing at venues and festivals including Sadler’s Wells, Park Theatre, Wilderness Festival, Camden People’s Theatre (CPT), and VAULT Festival in London.


She directed the multi-award-winning Trip by Freddie Van Der Velde and Chris White, as well as Umido, Umido, Umido. She is the director of Cell Outs (an Arts Council England-funded project) and the playwright of Night on Boob Mountainby Frisky Arts.


Grace also works with her companies Frills and Spills and Guttersnipe Theatre, both of which have toured across the UK with most dates selling out. In addition to her creative work, she teaches movement.

MIRIAM ELWELL-SUTTON

Performer

 

Miriam Elwell-Sutton was born in Glasgow, where she began her training in Musical Theatre at the Dance School of Scotland before continuing at Arts Educational Schools in London. She made her professional debut in Hair at The Gate Theatre, Notting Hill, and went on to perform extensively in the West End and beyond.


Her theatre credits include Ali in Mamma Mia! (West End); alternate Tzeitel and understudy for Chava and Hodel in Fiddler on the Roof (West End); Hunyak and Roxie in Chicago (UK tour & Singapore); Bettina in the new musical Dolly; Colin in Mother Goose (Nottingham Playhouse); An Evening of Shakespeare Monologues with Action to the Word; The Magical Mermaid in Robinson Crusoe & the Caribbean Pirates (SECC); and Scaramouche (understudy) in We Will Rock You (West End). She also played Tiger Lily in Peter Pan and Princess Jasmine in Aladdin at Edinburgh’s King’s Theatre; the lead in I Love You in Danish (Òran Mór); Eva in The Stornoway Way (An Lanntair); and Susan in Talking Heads.


Miriam is also an accomplished jazz singer, performing at venues across the UK. She has been a regular soloist at Shoreditch House and with the RSNO Big Band.


Her television work includes X-Factor (with the cast of Mamma Mia!), Dream Girl in the Dream Bingo commercial, Mother in a Scottish Government campaign, Lois in UP! (BBC3), and Morag in Quick Cuts (Channel 4).


Most recently, Miriam graduated with a Master’s degree from RADA. Following her graduation, she filmed the guest lead role of Rebecca Di Marco in a new Channel 5 drama, set to air in Autumn 2023.

ANITA POMARIO

Perfomer

 

Anita Pomario is an Italian actress and performer whose artistic journey began in theatre. In 2018, she moved to New York, where she graduated in Meisner Technique from the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre. In 2019, she relocated to London and earned an MA in Experimental Theatre from the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), specialising in Meisner Technique, contemporary dance, and physical theatre.


Her film work includes L’Amore che Ho (2024), directed by Paolo Licata, in which she portrayed Rosa Balistreri; the SKY TV series L’Arte della Gioia (2022), directed by Valeria Golino, where she played Carmela; Giuseppe Fiorello’s Stranizza d’Amuri (2020); and Le sorelle Macaluso (2019), directed by Emma Dante, which won the Pasinetti Award for Best Cast at the 77th Venice Film Festival.


On stage, Pomario has worked in international contexts. In 2023, she made her American debut as Juliet in Romeo and Juliet in New York City, directed by Sean Hagerty. In London, she performed in Holm with Temper Theatre and took on her first co-directing role in Germany with WALT/FOREST (2021). She remains deeply engaged in experimental and research-based theatre, performing at venues such as La MaMa Umbria International and participating in multidisciplinary projects like GeoDrama at Fuori Festival, Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto.


Her most recent work, Notturno 264, was created and performed by Pomario in 2025.

YAEL ELISHEVA

Assistant Director  

 

Yael Elisheva is a multidisciplinary theatre-maker, director, and performer whose work focuses on the intersection of Jewishness and queerness. Their recent one-person show, The Wise Men, sold out at Soho Theatre this past February. Their debut full-length play, This is the Story of Ayal & Noah’s Trip to Elk Neck, was long-listed for the 2025 Tony Craze Award and selected to be read as part of Omnibus Theatre's Engine Write Room. As a Jewish maker, they have been regularly supported by cultural institutions such as the JW3 and were a recipient of a Limmud 2023 micro grant. Their director credits include: An Empty Chair (Assistant Director for National Theatre Studios) & The Ministry of Lesbian Affairs (Assistant Director for Soho Theatre). They are a current Soho Theatre Writers' Alumni Group member and the Resident Artist at Company Three.

VALENTINA TURTUR

Consultant Set Designer

 

Valentina Turtur trained in Scenography at the Rome Academy of Fine Arts. She designs for both screen and theatre always looking for interesting visuals  to serve the story telling in an evocative or emotional shape. Most recent Theatre credits includes  "Beneath the Family Tree" at Riverside studios for No Name Creatives as Set consultant,"Paper Swans" at SoHo Theatre for Vyte Garriga and Flabbergast Theatre (which has been nominated for best set Design by the Fringe Theatre Awards) as Set Designer,  "Love you More" at the etcetera theatre as Set Consultant, “Red Riding Hood” for Petite Pantos at Stanley Arts as Set & Costume Designer. 
Most Recent Feature Films Credits includes “The Estate” for Dissent Projects (with Vanessa Redgrave and Franco Nero) as Production Designer and “Members Club” for Blackwater Pictures as Art Director. Advertising Includes Clients Like Lexus and Land Rover and most recent music videoclip was designed for David Gray and the song Plus and Minus.
In the past her work has been awarded by the Depth of Field int. Film Festival for Excellence in Set Design and "Treasure Island” designed for Iris Theatre was awarded with the Offie Award 2017 Best Production for young people(8+).

FRASER OWEN

Consultant Video & Sound Designer

 

Fraser Owen is a Sound Designer and Composer working across theatre, dance, installation, and immersive arts. Fraser is particularly interested in noise and sonic texture, world-building, and creative uses of technology, with his background in experimental sound arts. In theatre, he has designed and composed for work that has toured both nationally and internationally. He has also designed for socially conscious campaigns that have been used to train police recruits, and have been displayed in various public spaces. Fraser holds a BA in Digital Music and Sound Arts and an MA in Digital Media Arts, both from the University of Brighton.
